Snowstars jaw gabbed in shock of the news. A bear here on great hill! She gave herself a shake. Now wasn't the time for grieving, She gracefully leaped up to the High Branch:"Cats of both clans this isn't the time for battling among us. A creature has returned I only heard of in Nursery stories. A Bear the elders call HeavyClaw has returned. Now here my Orders. All Kits hide in the Nursery, apprentices put back up the barrier, Warriors stay alert and guard the camp. FogClan that goes for you as well. You will spend the night at our came and tomorrow a patrol will escort you to your territory. Breezestar there is no time for hostility now we must stick together for this thread goes beyond any Clan hostility." With that she dipped her head towards the FogClan Leader hoping the young Leader will do the sensible thing.
Silverpaw snapped out off it as soon she felt Flamepaws gentle touch and she heard Dreampaws frightened mew:"This is all my fault." she mewed crestfallen. She looked deeply into Flamepaws eyes as she continued:"I am sorry but this between us can't go on. Not after what happened" she mewed pain and sorrow reflected in her eyes. It was the last thing Silverpaw wanted to do but she turned away from Flamepaw and settled beside Dreampaw. She watched the TreeClan Leader giving out orders but she didn't hear a word all she could hear in her head was that agonized scream.

OCC//hey Miu, the leader of FogClan is Breezestar, fyi. Just thought i'd remind u!
Flamepaw stared after the silver she-cat. His heart felt a strong determination. He wouldn't stop seeing her. He wouldn't. The flame-colored apprentice motioned with his tail to Silverpaw again, wanting to talk to her.

Silverpaw ignored Flamepaws signal. Why is he making this so difficult for her. Her heart ached as she thought about his gentle touch, she sighed and tried to concentrated on the Leaders awaiting their orders.

Seapaw padded toward the remains of the barrier. He didn't like FogCLan staying at their camp partly because they had just been fighting for their lives against them and partly because they where a different clan. He didn't want to disobey Snowstar's orders but he was exteremly uncomfortable with FogClan stayign in the camp.

"A bear?" Dragonflame's tone was incredulous, "On the Great Hill?" She followed Snowstar's orders, but she really wanted to trace a scent and find out for herself.

Breezestar's pelt was ruffled from the sight of the creature. She nodded to Snowstar, flicking her tail for her Warriors to gather around her. Her pelt was standing on end, and her fears grew. The elder had died to save Silverpaw.
Blackfire had watched horro-stricken as the bear nearly snapped his apprentice's head off. He had watched as the elder had lead the creature away. And he had heard the screech of the dying cat. Blackfire's eyes were wide as he padded over to Silverpaw. "Are you alright?" He asked quietly, looking her over. He glanced back at Icewhisper, then at Breezepaw. "Go on over there." He meowed, nudging her towards Breezestar. He padded over to Snowstar and dipped his head. "I owe your elder for saving my apprentice. If there's anything you need done, just ask and I'll see what I can do..." He meowed.

OCC//SNOWstar, Blackfire. SNOWstar. lol. just thought i'd remind u!
Icewhisper padded over to Blackfire, who was talking to Snowstar. She pressed her muzzle to his side, and started purring. "Thank StarClan you're all right, Blackfire." she meowed. --------------------------------------------------------------- Flamepaw stared at Silverpaw as she ignored him and followed her mentor to Breezestar, her leader. He shrugged. She would be here for a while, and he would talk to her again, if it was the last thing he ever did.--------------------------------------------------------------- Dreampaw padded over to Breezestar, staring around cautiously at the TreeClan warriors walking around. This camp was so unfamiliar to her, so she padded over to Silverpaw, who had a distant look in her eyes. "Are you okay, Silverpaw?" she asked her friend.

Blackfire curled his tail around hers, and began purring. "I thought I had lost you." He whispered, leading her back to Breezestar.

Icewhisper pressed against Blackfire, purring. "You'll never be alone...not as long as I'm here! And it'll be a long time until I'm not, don't you worry." she meowed. Icewhisper looked around and spotted a flame-colored apprentice standing nearby looking sad. She padded over to him. "What's the matter?" she asked him. Even though he was from another Clan, she still didn't like to see any cat upset.--------------------------------------------------------------- Flamepaw looked up in surprise when a white FogClan warrior came up to him and asked him what was wrong. "Ummm...well I just can't believe that Ivorypelt's dead! I just got done taking care of her before the battle started. I can't believe she's actually gone!" Flamepaw wailed, making up a story on the spot. He wouldn't give away his feelings for Silverpaw in front of this enemy warrior. --------------------------------------------------------------- Icewhisper felt a stab of pity for the TreeClan apprentice. She rested her tail tip lightly on his shoulder. "Cheer up. She's in StarClan now, and she died saving Silverpaw from Heavyclaw. She will be honored in StarClan."--------------------------------------------------------------- At Silverpaw's name, Flamepaw's ears pricked up. Then he shook his head. He had to respond! "Y-Yeah. I'm glad she's with StarClan. I hope she'll be happy there." But as the white warrior padded away, Flamepaw's mind flitted back to Silverpaw, and he realized that he wasn't really thinking when he had said what he did. What's happening to me?!

Blackfire watched his mate talk to the apprentice, and decided to let her speak to him alone.

Icewhisper padded back over to Blackfire and pressed against him, thankful for the warmth of his body next to hers again. She realized that it took something very dramatic like a battle to bring them back together, and she was grateful that this battle had happened, but then she felt a stab of guilt. She glanced over at Blackfire. She hoped that he felt the same way.

Blackfire was looking around the TreeClan camp. His pelt tingled as Icewhisper brushed it, and he glanced at her, a new light in his eyes. He loved the pretty white she-cat, and thought he had lost her. Starclan were generous in letting her live...but, they might not be next time....

Silverpaw felt even more guilty about her feelings for the Flame Colored tom now that cats of her own clan show so much concern for Her."I I am ok Blackfire and Dreampaw. " she stammered. The bitter wish that she wanted to be the one who has fallen in Heavyclaws cruel clutches she kept to herself.
Relieved to see that the young fierce Leader and her Deputy showed no resistance to her orders Snowstar jumped down to face them on the same level. "Ivorytail did what she felt she had to, and as it looks sadly the future holds much opportunity to return the favor." The white Leader mewed in responds to Blackfires offer.

Dreampaw doubted that her friend was really all right, but she kept those thoughts to herself. Instead, she pressed her side against the silver apprentice's.

Silverpaw welcomed Dreampaws gesture very much. "Blackfire is there something I could do?" she mewed in hope to do something she hasn't to think so much.
