Silverkit cant believe it it is time for her Warrior Ceremony. Full of happiness she snatched up a ball of moss throwing it up high over her head falling backward as she tried to follow it. Feeling a little silly she straightened herself out. This is no time for silly kit games she had to show the clan that she is mature enough to be a apprentice. It has been a little lonely since she has been the only kit in the Nursery. Her light blue eyes sparkle as she looked through the heavy fog toward the Leaders Den just waiting for Leafstar to hold her ceremony. She wonders who her mentor will be. OCC: You can be her mentor if you would like to Leafstar.

Blackfire sat outside the Warrior's Den, watching the kit play energeticlly. He laughed inwardly, knowing he was still young at heart. His Warrior Ceremony had taken place only three moons ago, but he still felt like it had happened last night. At the thought of that moment, his pelt tingled. It felt almost mystical, like his Warrior Ancestors were beside him the entire time, with every pawstep taken they surrounded him, cheering him on, cheering his new name. I just wish Rosepelt could have been there to see me...Why did she have to join StarClan so early? Couldn't they have waited until she was an Elder...?
Blue eyes shot open as the black tom snapped back to reality, leaving his day-dream. He rasped his tongue over his ruffled pelt at the thought, and slight anger that followed it. He noticed Silverkit had straightened up after her dispute with the moss-ball, and wondered himself whom her mentor would be. She has a lot of spirit...she'll make a fine Warrior. Determined... Blackfire sighed. He knew he was a bit young to have an Apprentice yet, but he would love to train someone like Silverkit. Maybe one day! He tried to encourage himself by saying, but to not much avail...

Silverkit noticed that Blackfire was watching her. With a friendly gleam in her soft blue eyes she padded with her tail straight in the air towards him:"Greetings Blackfire. Cold day isn't it?" she mewed as she fluffed out her sleek silvery fur."Do you know who is going to mentor me?" she mewed curiously, with her head tilted and her eyes growing bigger by the minute.
OOC: Leafstar if you want you could make Blackfire Silverkits apprentice, so he could become your Deputy. (Just a suggestion but I leave the decision between you and Blackfire)

The black tom watched the kit as she padded up. "It is fairly chilly, isn't it?" He meowed, his eyes dancing with laughter. She makes me laugh just by trying to act beyond her years. Reminds me of myself, before......well, I still act that way! "Actually, I have no clue." He answered her, remembering his own curiosity of the kit's mentor. His paws tingled with the upcoming Ceremony; not just because he was curious of her mentor, but just the feeling. That same feeling that surely other cats could feel? Maybe sense? StarClan would be here with them as Silverkit recieves her Apprentice name, as well as her new mentor.
Ooc: I'm sure Blackfire would be over-jpyed to mentor Silverkit! Now tis up to Leafstar!! >^.^<

"How was it for you when you were made Apprentice Blackfire?" she mewed as she settled down close to a spring for warmth. FogClan was quite lucky to have these hot springs around. They make even Laefbare bareable. well the excitement within her isn't. She kept glancing side ways at the Leaders den.

The tom's eyes searched the camp, as if looking for someone. When it seemed he couldn't find them, he looked back down at Silverkit, whom had settled beside a spring to keep warm. "Well..." He began, thinking back to the night of his ceremony.
**
The black kit bounced around happily. Beeming down at him was Rosepelt, his foster mother. "Settle down, Blackkit! You're going to mess up your well-groomed pelt!" She laughed, touching the kit's nose with her tail-tip. With a squeak of excitement, Blackkit instantly sat beside Rosepelt. Tonight he would finally become an Apprentice! But who would be his mentor? The thoughts buzzed in the young kit's mind. "May all Cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the HighRock for a Clan meeting." The words rang out, sending Blackkit sprinting out into the Clearing. Rosepelt bounded after him, trying to catch him. Zig-zagging between Warriors, Elders, and Apprentices, Blackkit came to a hault in front of the HighRock. Rosepelt picked him up by the scruff roughly, scolding him through a mouthful of fur. She set him down in the appropriate place, sitting beside him. Finally! I'm going to be an Apprentice! He thought anxiously. His pelt lay flat from Rosepelt's quick groom, though his whiskers quivered with excitement. He held his head high, his chest puffed out. His eyes shone with the happiness of a Kit in Leaf-fall, and his tail curled around him neatly. He imagined how he looked, sitting there. I bet I look like an Apprentice being given his Warrior Name! He thought, though he knew it was silly. He more than likely looked like a Kit being given his Apprentice name, which he was! "Good Luck." he heard Rosepelt's soft whisper in his ear, sending chills down his spine. This was it. This was his Apprentice Ceremony...
**
That feeling of other cats with me...Cats not of FogClan, yet still familur... "It was amazing. I was beyond anxious to recieve my new name, let alone know whom my new mentor was. My whiskers quivered, and I thought to myself that I looked like an Apprentice becoming a Warrior, not a Kit becoming an Apprentice! Rosepelt cheered me on silently, and told me she was laughing because I was attemtping to act all grown. But she didn't do it in a mocking way, but in that of a loving way." He sighed, not wanting to mention the feeling of the others. That was a preserved memory, that he would only share with one other person. Who that would be, he wasn't completly sure of.

Silverkit felt warmth and sadness behind that memory.'You must miss Rosepelt a lot. I miss my mother too and I wish she could be here to see me," she mewed quietly. "I wonder if my father went after that Badger and if he would ever come back. It was said Granidblock loved my mother Dustwing very much." she mewed with pain glittering in her eyes. Every cat always told her how much her eyes looked like her fathers and how much her features look like her mothers. She barely can remember them. Embarrassed by her strong emotions she started to lick her shoulder avoiding Blackfires eyes.

The black tom chuckled. He understood how this kit felt. His mother had passed away, not being able to see him grow up. The same with his father. Yet, as hard as it was, he managed to get through t all, and knew Silverkit would, too. "Well, I'll be cheering you on, all the way." He purred, resting his tail across her shoulders. His whiskers quivered as his memories lingered, then dispersed, leaving his mind wandering, then remembering his curiosity of who would be Silverkit's mentor. "I hope you receive a mentor who will teach you properly. You have so much potential...it'd be a waste if they didn't explore your talents."

Her skin felt hot beneath her fur from that praise and her blue eyes sparkled with admiration as she laid them on Blackfire. Then mischievously she badded at his tail and playfully hissed:" How about a little taste of Apprentice life and a practice lesson."

Giving it a thought, the FogClan tom saw no harm in that. "Well, I guess you can start by cleaning out the Elder's den, and gather new moss for bedding. Make sure they are stocked well on food, and that the Queens don't need anything. Also check in with the Medicine Cat." He mused, naming off the dullest of the Apprentice's duties. His eyes danced with laughter, his tail twitching just out of Silverkit's reach. "Alright, I'll show you something. What would you like to learn?" He asked, standing up and padding into the clearing.

Silverkit thought for a moment:" How about the Leap-and-hold? I saw some apprentices practice that one and I think since I am quite small it would be good for me to learn that one" she mewed as she decided that is the most useful move for now. Excited with ears pricked she dried to pay close attention.

Blackfire nodded slowly. "Alright, what you have to do, is jump on your opponent's back, digging your claws into their back for a good grip. That way, if you are team-fighting, your partner can attack much easily. Like this. Imagine I'm fighting a DarkClan Warrior." He bunched up his hind legs, then leaped, unsheathing his razor-sharp claws, and digging them deep into the ground below. "When Apprentices' practice this move, they keep their claws sheathed. Also, you have to make sure you avoid the drop and roll, because you can get hurt badly otherwise." He meowed, imagining teaching Silverkit this move as her mentor. "Now, show me what I just did. Only use me as your target." He ordered, getting into a defensive posture.

Silverkit listened with strained ears taking every word hungrily in."ok I give it a try" she mewed nervously. She concentrated trying to pinpoint his position and jumped landing squarely behind his shoulders but as she slipped and panicked she unsheathed her small but sharp claws and dig ed them in deep.

As Silverkit landed ontop of him, Blackfire lowered himself to steady the sudden weight. "Sheath your claws, Silverkit. It takes a couple of tries before you can get your balance straight. Don't be scared." He meowed, holding his position as best he could. "Also, your eyes revealed your moves too well. Don't let your eyes give you away." He advised.

Silverkit tried to relax but overdid and rolled right of Blackfires back. A little embarrass she straightened herself out and tried it again this time quick enough for her eyes not to give away where she would land. she jumped and this time landed on his back carefully gripping tightly."Better?" she mewed hoping she did well,
